Friday Junior Club returns this Friday

Friday Junior Club is officially returning this Friday 1 November.

Friday evenings are a great opportunity for our juniors and teens (both members and non-members) to come down and have fun and improve their tennis.

Commencing at 5pm, the program which will be run by our coaches from Tennis Academy, will feature a ball machine and mini nets set up on courts 5 and 6 for juniors to utilise along with any vacant courts from 5pm to 5.45pm.

This will be followed by several rounds of organised sets and coordinated play after which the courts and lights will remain available for juniors (and anyone else) to keep playing.

Entry to Friday Junior Club is free for all MTC junior members while non-members are required to pay $5. All players must register and ‘check-in’ with the coaches on the day to help with the organisation. A sausage sizzle will also be available as part of Friday Junior Club.

There will also be the occasional special Friday novelty events so keep an eye out for them.

For parents, guardians, member and guests over 18 years of age, the club will also be hosting its usual Friday Sundowner with bar facilities available to help you wind down after a long week while the juniors are on court.
