Pickleball Perth and Manning Tennis Club forms ongoing partnership
In some really exciting news, Pickleball Perth and Manning Tennis Club have announced a formal partnership that will see social pickleball sessions become a regular activity at the Manning Tennis Club.
Using equipment from Pickleball Perth, the club will be hosting regular pickleball sessions (using temporary courts on the hardcourts) at the club on Friday evenings from 5.30pm to 7.30pm allowing people to come down and play the game.
One of the fastest growing sports in America, like tennis it's suitable for all ages and it's actually pretty easy to pick up making it a wonderful game to play with family and friends.
As part of the partnership, we will also have new paddles and balls for sale and we can take pre-orders for nets as well - all at a special price.
The addition of pickleball to Friday evenings at the club complements our clubhouse and bar facilities being available, opportunities for people to come down and use any free tennis courts and if there are sufficient numbers a sausage sizzle making it a perfect opportunity to unwind for the weekend.
To celebrate the announcement of our partnership, pickleball sessions are free for everyone throughout the month of August.
For those of you who've never heard of pickleball or are unsure how to play it, it's a combination of tennis, badminton and table-tennis. We will be there to help explain the rules to you but you can always check out this short YouTube video here.
